Clare Cottage - Sherborne (Dorset)

Breakfast at Clare Cottage delighted our mornings with local produce, but Wi-Fi speed could be improved.

The setting was quite particularly good and magnificent within easy reach of Sherborne Abbey. The vegetarian breakfast had a good selection.

enjoyed my stay, had a perfect experience. it was a nicely decorated and enchanting hotel in a beautiful area, very close to the lovely garden and sherborne abbey and castle. the room was spotless and big size, included with plush beds, milk for the tea plus tasteful decor.

The garden room was so lekker, bright and airy with a lovely door to chill outside. The brekkie was absolute fire, fresh and varied! Susie was a proper chommie, super warm and helpful.

Just a bit tricky to find the place at first, but once you get in, it's a real gem!

Staying at this lovely spot with my family was nice! The kids loved cycling around the beautiful area, and our room was a great fit for everyone. Plus, breakfast was delicious and really set us up for the day.

My kids wished for more family-friendly activities on-site.

great stay with minor hiccups

The breakfast exceeded my expectations, with a good array of local jams that enhanced each meal. The Superior King Room was spacious and maintained to a high standard. I appreciated the lush garden view from my room. The dining experience was genuinely nice. I found the Wi-Fi speed lacking was great.

Susie was super helpful and gave us tips on the best spots to check out. The room felt really cozy and stylish. Breakfasts were out of this world, def the highlight of our mornings! Just wish the internet was a bit faster, but everything else was fab.

The garden room was super cozy with a lovely private patio to relax on. Breakfast was deliciously prepared with local ingredients every morning! I enjoyed some downtime in the peaceful outdoor seating area and the charming lounge. One thing to note is that the Wi-Fi could be a bit hit or miss, but it didn't really dampen my stay. 😊

Clare cottage is perfect location near a lovely garden. The superior king room was a real treat, offering luxury and cleanliness. Breakfasts were a highlight, scrumptious and catered to our preferences, setting us up wonderfully for our days.
